Generations ago, bloodshed and war reigned in the forest. Feral cats murdered each-other over scraps of food and found their own lives at risk from the elements and other, larger creatures. Until five brave cats stepped forward and vowed to make a change. Shadow, Thunder, Wind, River and Sky. They decided on territorial boarders and announced tot he rest of the forest that they would each welcome anyone who wanted protection and the safety a group would provide.
ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan and SkyClan were born.
1430 Moons have passed since the formation of the Clans and the original leaders and even their kits have long since passed from this world but the ideals they left in place remain strong to this day. But despite the peace that once filled the air, tensions have risen time and time again and the current day is no exception.
Each Clan has it's own rich and detailed history. More in depth information about each on can be found in their information thread, or by speaking with their leader. Because the Clans are so old, there are a multitude of past high positions that aren't even listed in the histories of each Clan. Please do not hesitate to make up or mention one of them, or even to make one in StarClan. Just keep in mind that a great many of the cats alive in the forest today will have no memory of most of them. If you do make a name or any sort of history or information on them, please inform an admin so we can add them into the High Position History.
